The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
